WHI Recordings presents the first full length album by Secret Nuclear.

The Closed Circuit draws listeners into the world of surveillance, exploring themes of suspicion and paranoia. The tracks are connected by the idea of following and being followed.

The album follows several Secret Nuclear EPs and the single One Hundred Thousand Windows which was released in April 2023.

Secret Nuclear is the artist name of Surrey based musician Tim Spear. Secret Nuclear explores experimental electronic music and sound, from woozy minimalism, treated field recordings and loops through to all-out noise.

Tim has released a series of EPs and also contributed mixes and guest sessions for radio shows such as Dark Train, Kites & Pylons and Urban Mutant.

About WHI Recordings
WHI Recordings is a music label started by Tim Spear in 2017. Its aim is to rediscover past works and explore electronic music, both as a solo artist and collaborator.

WHI hosts a quarterly radio show on CAMP, a radio station run by an arts retreat in the Pyrenees. WHI also broadcasts regularly on Blast Radio, a platform for audio livestreams.

Great record. wears it's influences proudly ..but retains a sliver of identity that is uniquely British and has a northern feel to it..I think that these geographic musical vignettes are realy evocotive of northern Newtown Uber estates and satellite communities..I hope this translates to a wider audience for him...he deserves the attention. give him his due .NOW . christopherogley
